Law of Attraction Tip: Stay Grounded in the Present Moment!

Have you ever noticed that when you are feeling frustrated about a specific life situation, often you are worrying about what “will be” or you are looking back at “what was” and comparing that to “where you are now” and feeling pretty crappy about that?!

Buddha - Staying Grounded in Present MomentFrom a Law of Attraction standpoint, what you think and feel creates your reality.  And the Universe doesn’t know whether you are focused on the past, focused on the future or focused on what is right in front of your nose.  That’s all the Universe matches is how you are FEELING about what you are focused on.

Often, we need to bring ourselves back to the present moment, embrace it, look for the things that put a smile on our face right here, right now and shift our focus away from what is making us feel frazzled.

When you stay grounded in the present moment, you will feel more peace in your heart and soul.

Take a moment to ask yourself if you are really PRESENT in this moment right now.  Are you reading this and 100% focused on the words you are reading or are you reading this with part of your mind focused on what you have to do next or with an undertone of worry about some life situation that is getting you down?  Whatever your answer is has an impact on what you attract into your future life experiences.  The more grounded, centered and calm you are in this present moment, the more likely you will be to attract more positive events into your life.

When you start thinking about the future (with the a concerned energy about how something is going to turn out), it sure doesn’t feel good, does it? Worst Case Scenario Imagining (W-CSI, I like to call it!) is definitely not going to bring you what you want to have in your life.  So, it is really important to be aware when you are focusing on the worst case scenario, and to make a conscious effort to bring yourself back into the present moment, reminding yourself and affirming that “ALL IS WELL” or at minimal, telling yourself the story that “ALL will be WELL” … cause it will, if you keep yourself grounded, calm and immersed in deep gratitude for what you do have in your life.

If you really started to think about it, this present moment is pretty darn good! If you are reading this, you have internet access, you have your eyesight, you are breathing, you woke up this morning … there are so many things to be grateful for right here, right now.  Just look around and really make a conscious effort to find things in your immediate surroundings that make you smile.  Count your blessings.  Find that deep appreciation for WHAT IS. This always works like a charm for me and in that red hot moment I realize that ALL truly is WELL!

There is nothing that you can do about what already happened in the past. And as far as the future, we all know that as deliberate creators, what we think in this present moment will impact the future. So, why not have peaceful, loving, “All is Well” thoughts right now and attract the same type of future life experiences?!

And anyway, if you continue to have one leg in the past and one leg in the future … where does that leave you?

Doing a great big split that will really hurt!!!
